Band Clubs 4 Youths is made up of a group of eight Maltese band clubs, united in their objective to promote and encourage their youth members in having a holistic, professional music tuition and enabling them to exchange their ideas and culture.

From 2015, with the help of national funds from Agenzija Zghazagh and Ghaqda Kazini tal-Banda, a series of masterclasses have been held annually. Such funds were also used to invest and make better the music schools within the participating band clubs so as to enrich the everyday tuition of their students.

The first partnership was between Ghaqda Muzikali Marija Bambina, Banda Vittorja of Naxxar and Socjeta Muzikali Pinto, Banda San Sebastjan of Hal Qormi. This collaboration resulted in the first ever joint band-project in Malta, consisting of a series of masterclasses led by professional musicians & tutors. This proved to be successful and in 2016, Socjeta Filarmonika Santa Katerina of Zurrieq and Socjeta Filarmonika La Vittoria of Mellieha teamed up  with the initial two band clubs and  organised the second series of masterclasses, bringing in further professional musicians from the local & foreign musical scene.

In 2017, a total of eight band clubs have united together to organise the International Wind & Percussion Festival – a 5-day long summer camp and festival in which top international tutors will be leading workshops, masterclasses, and other activities to upcoming students of clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, low brass instruments and percussion. It can be safely stated that such an event is a first of its kind in Malta.
