Concert Series

What is a festival without concerts? So here it is, our series of concerts within the International Winds and Percussion Festival.

The series kicks off with the Tutors’ Concert on Saturday, 23rd September, featuring all the international and local musicians leading the masterclasses and workshops of our festival, namely David Thornton on Euphonium, Sergio Bosi on Clarinet, Rodolfo Rossi on Percussion, Brendan Ball on Trumpet, Antonino Mollica on Saxophone, Rebecca Farrugia Hall on Flute & Alex Bezzina on trumpet, accompanied by Elaine Mercieca on the Piano. . It promises to be a high-class evening, surely not to be missed. The concert starts at 7pm.

The Participants’ Concert will bring the festival with a grand end with a concert featuring all the active participants within the festival. The concert starts at 6:30pm.

Both concerts will be held at the Theatre of the Johann Strauss School of Music in Ħamrun. Entrance is free.


The International Wind & Percussion Festival is organised by bandclubs4youths  in collaboration with Vandoren Paris & Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel. The project is co-financed by Aġenzija Żgħażagħ & Għaqda Każini tal-Banda.
